The 21-year-old crooner from Leesburg, Georgia, Phillip Phillips was crowned winner of “American Idol Season 11” on Wednesday night, May 23 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The second place was the 16-year-old singer from San Diego, Jessica Sanchez.

On Tuesday, Phillips received a standing ovation from the audience and the judges for his performance of his winning song “Home”. Congratulations Phillips!
